This is an exceptionally rare Vietnamese Wild Sinking Agarwood Bracelet, sourced from Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam, and carefully preserved by Duy Hai Agarwood for many years.
Phu Quoc is one of the Vietnamese regions associated with Aquilaria crassna, the species traditionally known as Dó Bầu and valued for its ability to form aromatic agarwood. Scientific field research has documented Aquilaria cultivation and agarwood-related activities on Phu Quoc Island, while Vietnamese forestry research has also identified Phu Quoc as an area where Dó Bầu occurs.
What makes this particular bracelet especially remarkable is its natural sinking quality. Agarwood becomes capable of sinking when its density becomes greater than water, which is associated with substantial accumulation of aromatic resin within the wood. Recent scientific research has confirmed that agarwood samples that completely sink can have densities above 1.0 g/cm³.
This bracelet weighs approximately 11 grams and is suitable for wrists measuring approximately 17–20 cm. Its high resin density, natural sinking characteristic, Vietnamese origin, and extremely limited availability make it a remarkable collector's piece.
Finding naturally resin-rich agarwood in the wild is notoriously difficult because only a small proportion of Dó Bầu trees naturally develop valuable agarwood. Vietnamese forestry research has specifically noted the difficulty of finding naturally formed agarwood in wild trees.
According to the sourcing history of this particular piece, the agarwood collectors associated with its discovery spent approximately one year searching before being fortunate enough to locate suitable material. Duy Hai Agarwood subsequently preserved and collected this rare material for many years before it was crafted into this bracelet.
One of a Kind
Only one bracelet is available.
This is not a mass-produced agarwood bracelet or a piece made from commonly available plantation material. It represents a rare opportunity to own a unique piece of Vietnamese agarwood associated with Phu Quoc Island, selected for its exceptional resin density and natural sinking characteristic.

-
Avoid sharp objects that may scratch the surface.
-
Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth.
Cultural & Traditional Significance
Agarwood has been treasured in Vietnam and throughout Asia for centuries for its distinctive fragrance and traditional cultural significance. In traditional practices, agarwood is associated with tranquility, meditation, spiritual reflection, and positive energy.
Many collectors also appreciate agarwood as a symbol of rarity, natural beauty, prosperity, and good fortune. Each naturally formed piece is unique because the resin develops within the tree in an irregular and unpredictable pattern.
